Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 FTW Update

Alright guys and gals, after about 3 weeks longer than I promised I finally found the time to write up a short update on that new graphics card I bought. I must say it really does make a difference. While the plugins that I use on a regular basis don’t provide GPU acceleration support (sadly) i have found that the improvement vs not having the GPU is obvious. After editing the CUDA Supported Cards file in my premiere installation, the CUDA support in premiere worked perfectly and utilized the card. All video effects bundled with adobe no longer need to be rendered when applied to a clip. This means that those of you who don’t want to wait around for the render to take place don’t have to.  On top of that, when editing on dual monitors (like I do) the performance increase is amazing. Being able to playback full resolution clips on two screens is a life saver. I cant recommend this upgrade enough.
(oh and I should mention that my video games look amazing now too, which is always a plus. )

As I see more changes i will post updates, but for now this is all I have time for. If you have any specific questions post them below and I will do my best answer them!
